The company was started in New Zealand as a fabric wholesaler in 1982 and has now become the biggest supplier of quality Patchwork and Quilting fabric in New Zealand.
I worked for Nutex in New Zealand for 5 years and really enjoyed the business and the people who worked there. Nutex had been supplying fabric to the UK from NZ since 2008 and as the business grew it seemed like a great opportunity to open Nutex UK Ltd in patnership with NZ.
So in early 2012 we established a stockholding in Tyne & Wear, which enables us to offer a fast and reliable service to the UK marketplace which has been positively received.
We develop with the help of our talented artists an assortment of original novelty and themed fabrics on a premium 100% cotton. We are updating these designs continuously with the latest trends and favourites, and there is always something fresh and exciting on offer.
